Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new vendors for fabrication, machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, electronics, and standard components.
- Evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capability.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and support supplier selection.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for procurement requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders and delivery schedules.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delays, and technical queries.
- Maintain vendor database and supplier performance records.
- Visit vendor facilities for capability assessment and progress review when required.
- Ensure timely documentation related to procurement and vendor development.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of B2B sales and business development.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to understand engineering services and manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings.
